Cory Hunter-Winn made a name for himself in the social media scene with his engaging comedy clips and reaction videos on his TikTok account, corywinn. He is also part of the comedy duo Speedy & The G, along with his closest friend, Damen Mummert, or Dame. The two shot to fame with their comedy clips on the collaborative TikTok account thespeedyandtheg.

In fact, even before they achieved fame on TikTok, the duo apparently posted their videos on YouTube. Their collaborative YouTube channel, launched in July 2019, has thousands of subscribers on it.

One of their most-watched videos shows Cory asking Damen how long he could drive for his dream girl, while Damen answers that he could drive to any place, but not to Nebraska. The video went viral and fetched them millions of likes. Cory has a personal YouTube account named Winn Enterprises too.

A budding model too, Cory is associated with Heroes Model Management and Wilson Model Management. Cory has also posted about the books he likes on a separate TikTok account, corywinncanread. However, some critics on the TikTok community BookTok have accused him of not reading the books he suggests.

He also has a personal Instagram account, cory.winn, and a collaborative one with Damen, speedyandtheg.

Controversies

Cory apparently pretended that TikToker Max Taylor was his father, as they looked similar. In September 2020, Cory’s modeling agency fired him after he misgendered a non-binary person and likened them to music artist Gunna, because they both had orange hair and were Black.

Family Life

Cory has featured his parents in his TikTok content. He is also known for his close friendship with fellow social media star Dame and he once revealed that he was bisexual. Cory owns a dog that he has named Kevin.
